There are so many things to organise for your big day, it can often feel a bit overwhelming.
Your wedding day is one of the most meaningful moments in your life, and your wedding ceremony is at the heart of it. As your celebrant, it will be my absolute pleasure to work with you to craft a ceremony that’s truly personal and one that captures who you are as a couple. We’ll celebrate your love with a heartfelt blend of warmth, laughter, lumps in the throat, and maybe even a few happy tears along the way.
Freedom and flexibility
Unlike a registrar-led ceremony, which is limited to licensed venues and set scripts, a celebrant-led wedding gives you complete freedom.
Aswell as offering you freedom to make your ceremony and your vows uniquely personalised, one of the best things about a celebrant-led ceremony is the freedom to choose your setting. You’re not limited to licensed premises, you can celebrate anywhere that feels right for you. It might be a traditional venue, or it could be a tipi in a picturesque woodland, a festival theme in a field, a romantic lake side, or even a pretty garden. You may to need to ask a landowner’s permission, but the choice is yours.
The legal paperwork can be done separately at your local register office—often quick and simple—leaving your celebrant-led ceremony to be the heart and soul of your celebration in your perfect place.
With me as your wedding celebrant, you won’t be confined to strict or limited time slots, and I certainly won’t be a stranger to you – we’ll know each other pretty well by the time of the ceremony. Freedom and flexibility will be all yours, and so will I, for as long as you need me on the big day!
A Completely Unique Ceremony
We’ll start with the structure of a traditional wedding and turn it into a one-of-a-kind ceremony that reflects your individuality. You have so many choices – here are a few to get you inspired:
- Want to make a traditional or grand entrance, or something or informal and low key? You decide how you both walk in and out, and what music sets the mood.
- Inspired by your love story, your ceremony could be simple, elegant and romantic, or maybe a quirky theme is more ‘you’.
- Readings or poems could be humorous, heartfelt or even include a semi religious touch.; get the tone spot on.
- Say your vows your way. Choose words that truly reflect what you want to promise to each other, whether traditional, modern, or something completely original and fun.
- Planning to include the beautiful tradition of a ring exchange? Why not include another mini ritual for a symbolically touching moment, or one that injects a bit of fun? You could involve friends or family? How about a ring warming, a handfasting or a quaich ceremony? There are loads of possibilities. It’s your day, your way.
- Want to celebrate your heritage, your cultural background, your beliefs, or your unique lifestyle? Whether it’s a religious element, a traditional custom, or an aspect personal to you both, let’s make sure it shines through.
- And if you love keepsakes, you might enjoy signing a commemorative certificate while some meaningful music plays in the background.
