Hello and a warm welcome. My name is Gill Frisby, and I am an independent Celebrant. Whether it’s a wedding, a vow renewal, a naming ceremony or a memorial, I believe every milestone deserves to be marked in a way that’s personal, authentic and meaningful.
I’m all about creating bespoke ceremonies that feel warm, genuine, and completely you.
My background is in recruitment, training, and lecturing in English – so I’ve always been passionate about people, words, and helping others find the right way to express themselves. I’ve loved stories for as long as I can remember, and becoming a celebrant has given me the perfect way to bring that storytelling passion into some of life’s most special moments.
Through this blog, I’ll be sharing thoughts, ideas, and inspiration to help you plan a ceremony that truly reflects who you are. Whether you’re looking for tips on writing your vows, choosing the perfect reading, or adding special touches like meaningful rituals or symbolic gestures, I’m here to help. From handfasting to unity candles (or something completely unique!), there are so many lovely ways to make your ceremony feel even more personal.
